The Rainforest Retreat is situated 10 kms north-west of Madikeri Town in one of the most natural and scenic areas of Kodagu District (in the heart of the Western Ghats). At 1100m altitude, we enjoy a superb climate from October to May. It is sunny with temperatures reaching 20-27 C by Day and 10-18 C at night.  Madikeri is 250 kms (road journey of about 6 hrs ) from Bangalore and 140 kms from Mangalore (road journey of 4hrs.) The plantation is surrounded by rolling hills and densely forested valleys. The retreat is an undiscovered paradise for trekkers and nature lovers.
